PayPlea Accessibility Statement
Effective: November 5, 2026 Last updated: November 5, 2026
Our commitment
Ayudante Digital wants everyone to be able to ask for help and to help others. We design and test PayPlea and these pages against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and the European standard EN 301 549, and we apply the accessibility requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), as transposed in Spain by Law 11/2023, and of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Conformance status
PayPlea for iPhone and these web pages substantially conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA. “Substantially conform” means that the core flows (registering, browsing, giving, uploading receipts, publishing a request, messaging, reporting, exporting and deleting an account) are accessible, with the limitations listed below.
Accessibility features
- Labels, hints and traits for VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android.
- Swiping is never the only way to act: every swipe has an equivalent button and accessibility action.
- Support for Dynamic Type and large text sizes without loss of content.
- Reduce Motion is respected: card animations are simplified or removed.
- Text and controls meet minimum contrast ratios, and colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 points.
- Haptic and animated feedback is always accompanied by visible text.
- These web pages work with keyboard navigation, screen readers, browser zoom up to 200% and print.
Known limitations
- Images uploaded by users may not include a text description. Request stories always include text, and we ask requesters to describe key images in the story.
- Payment providers’ apps and websites (PayPal, Revolut, Cash App or Venmo) are outside our control; their own accessibility statements apply.
- Receipt and document images are images; the amounts and details you declare are always available as text.
Feedback and alternative formats
If you find a barrier or need information from PayPlea in another format, write to hola@ayudantedigital.es. Tell us what you were trying to do, your device and the assistive technology you use. We acknowledge within 3 business days and aim to provide a solution or an accessible alternative within 15 business days.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the consumer protection authority of your Spanish autonomous community or of your country of residence, which supervise compliance with accessibility requirements for consumer services.
