Switching From an Android Foldable to iPhone Duo: Migration Guide
How to move contacts, photos, messages, authenticators, eSIM, and foldable workflows without losing account access.

Before starting
Update Android, connect both phones to power and check cloud photos have uploaded. List banking apps, authenticators, password managers and work profiles separately; these often require manual approval.
Transfer essentials
Use Apple’s supported migration process for contacts, calendars, photos and eligible messages. Keep the old phone untouched until you have opened representative photos, searched messages and confirmed calendar history.
Authentication is critical
Move authenticator accounts one service at a time. Save recovery codes offline and test password-manager access before erasing anything. Transfer the number only after understanding the Duo eSIM process.
Rebuild workflows, not layouts
Android and iOS handle multitasking differently. Identify the result—map plus itinerary, mail plus calendar—and configure the equivalent. Our five Duo workflows help.
Verify calls, SMS, photo dates, shared albums, health data, smart-home access and subscriptions. Then follow the setup checklist. Keep the old device for several days if possible; calm migration is safer than fast migration.
