iPhone Duo Accessibility Settings: A Practical User Guide
Practical starting points for text size, VoiceOver, contrast, motion, touch accommodations, and changing layouts.

Start with text and contrast
Set Dynamic Type comfortably and check your most-used apps folded and unfolded. Larger text should reflow rather than overlap controls. Increase contrast or reduce transparency if panes become difficult to distinguish.
VoiceOver and focus order
Move through each app after changing display state. Focus should continue logically rather than jumping to a hidden pane. Report repeatable traps with exact steps and device position.
Motion and touch
Reduce Motion can make layout transitions easier to follow. Touch Accommodations may help users who trigger buttons accidentally. Register biometric fingers reachable in more than one position; our Touch ID guide explains the interaction.
App quality matters
An adaptive layout must remain usable with larger text, switches and keyboards. Browse our app directory, where accessibility and stability are part of evaluation. Developers can use our deeper accessibility testing guide.
Test calls, emergency information, Wallet and navigation before depending on them. The setup checklist provides a broader sequence. Revisit settings after major updates.
